Jobs Partnership Greater Washington
Was founded on the idea that relationships are key to changing and improving lives.
In 1997 Rev. Stephen E. tucker and businessmen Daniel Dyer and Brian Cunningham founded Jobs Partnership Greater Washington.
Their mission was to bring churches and businesses together to train, mentor and employ the unemployed and underemployed including the ex-offender.
To this date more than 2,000 persons have been assisted by this faith-based job readiness approach to ending poverty. The program is operating in more than 80 cities across the nation as either Jobs Partnership of Jobs for Life.
It is fitting that the organization was founded through one such dynamic friendship.
